What's been happening in my world in the last few months? 

Was a judge for New Act of the Year competition at Stratford Circus. Top tip: Mark Stephenson (who came 2nd) - lovely, laconic but lacerating comedy.

Played a few roles in Talking Hawking, BBC Radio 4 Drama series celebrating

Stephen Hawking's 70th birthday.

Directed a modern fairytale, The Quest of the Four Princesses, at The Unicorn Theatre (the U.K's top children's theatre).

Worked with Nick Cohen on scratch performances of his one-man autobiographical show about a film-director's experiences in Hollywood. More to come...

Compered Poetry in The Woods, the Skyros grand party, several Map cabarets.

Acted in Page to Stage at Jackson's Lane.

Attended Discipline of Freedom week-long residential course in Cornwall with teaching legend Paul Oertel, and practised some skills, particularly in the writing dept.

Directed: Zoe Cobb in a clown piece, Cat's Pyjamas; VET's Pitch Black for the second time, in Austria; a modern musical version of Much Ado About Nothing for YMT, script by moi with input from cast...(available to be used as a resource v.soon).

Attended ace class on verbatim theatre at Theatre Royal Stratford East - really GOT it.

Taught: Flirtshops; Introduction to Acting; Musical Theatre Narrative for musicians at Birmingham Conservatory (with jazz great Abram Wilson); Radio Drama courses for young people in East London (3 radio plays produced!); INSETS - teaching teachers how to use drama; impro in Spain and Greece.

Reviewed: a ton of plays for Remote Goat and Whatsonstage.
