Alison has finished writing her book: The Improv Book - Improvisation for Theatre, Comedy, Education and Life which will be published by Oberon Press in Summer 2015.
In the lead-up to the book launch, Alison is teaching two courses at the Museum of Comedy in London's West End:
Improvisation for Comedy, Theatre and Life - a course of six Sunday afternoons from 22 March to 3 May (with a break for Easter Sunday). For beginners and improvers, it is a comprehensive set of games and exercises that will have you laughing uproariously as you learn.
Improvisation Play-Day - a one-day course on Saturday 18 April. Good for an overview of this wonderful practice, and if you live outside London and can only commit to a day. Again, it will be great fun as well as informative.
Go to www.museumofcomedy.com and look under Workshops for details and booking. Or contact firstname.lastname@example.org and Alison will answer any questions you have.
Alison continues to work at the Arcola Theatre, Dalston as facilitator and director of the 60+ Drama Group. In June 2014 their devised show, 'Misbehaving' on the subject of rebellion had four performances, with a fifth in October for a Hackney Council event. One piece from the show, Kazim Altan's Freedom to be Imprisoned, featured in the Face to Face solo theatre festival at The Lost Theatre. Alison starts a new run of 60+ classes in March 2015 and will be directing a show with the group later in the year.
Alison has trained as a lifecoach! She is working with clients and loving every minute of it. A natural new development...
If you are interested in a session, contact email@example.com and we can discuss your needs.
