    2010

    BAFTA AWARD!

A TV programme for the BBC's Learning Zone, called Skills for Life, on which I worked as the director of the actors has been nominated for a BAFTA. The show features teenage learning-disabled actors in a set of scenarios in which they have to cope with a variety of social and sexual challenges. The kids were great to work with and we had a really happy shoot. I'm delighted that all the guys at the production company, Gamelab have been acknowledged in this way. And me too!

My one-woman show, Lady in Bed, presented by The Weird Sisters is out and about. It is based on true stories from my love-life which I deliver in a lively physical style, playing all the characters (including a colourful array of ex-boyfriends and myself at various ages) and aims to stimulate laughs, tears, memories and amazement.

I've gleaned some great reviews and a very positive response from audiences.
